Further Comments: The roads of this small village are reportedly haunted by the shade of a nun. A white woman also stalks the area, though this may be the same entity.

Further Comments: Out walking late one night, a person spotted a ghostly horse, rider, and pack of hounds in the valley below him. The hunt pack reached Hembury Fort; the rider blew his horn and the pack sunk into the ground. On a Sunday afternoon in September 2020, a witness spotted a white bubble-like phenomenon, in which ran a wolf reported as being twice the size as normal.

Further Comments: The jutting rock is said to have treasure concealed beneath it, though it is now protected by the ghost of a man who tried to remove the stone to find the hidden wealth - his body was found crushed under the stone.

Further Comments: This wood was once the home of a long dragon, which caused some concern prior to being hacked apart by a forester.

Further Comments: Said to haunt the area where she was buried, Hunt's true history is a mystery.

Further Comments: A collision between two steam engines at the site in 1857 resulted in several people dead and seriously injured - locals have reported hearing the accident repeated at night, some even seeing the engine pass by.

Further Comments: In 1559, Mrs Wyndham fell into a coma and was placed in her coffin in the family vault at St Decumen's. A local ruffian broke into the vault that very night and tried to steal her wedding ring by cutting off her finger; this shock brought Florence out of her coma, sending the would-be thief running. She was able to climb from her coffin and stagger home; the route her ghost has taken ever since.

Further Comments: This lean gentleman was seen several times prior to the 1970s, but the sightings ceased after an exorcism. However, a few years later and he was back, seen once again strolling around the building as if he never went away.

Further Comments: The shop featured in the press after workers claimed it to be haunted. It was reported that the cottage that once stood next door had a resident ghost who visited the former owner. A priest blessed the shop, although soon after staff could hear scratching and banging in a wall during lunchtime.

Further Comments: Saint Keyna once lived in the woodland in this area and is said to have turned all snakes into stone.

Further Comments: Several porters, at different times, reported seeing a phantom locomotive pass silently through the station along the Bristol line. A few said that they could see the driver of the train looking out, a concerned expression on his face.

Further Comments: A team of ghost hunters reported detecting the ghost of a young boy named Thomas whose father starved him to death in the attic. A phantom woman is also reputed to haunt the site.

Further Comments: The dragon known as Blue Ben built the nearby causeway so he could reach the sea - this would keep him cool on days he felt particularly fiery. Ben met his end when he slipped on the rocks and suffocated in the mud below. His skull (actually a fossil ichthyosaur) is on display in the local museum.

Further Comments: A brutal fire breathing dragon terrorized this region until a champion came forth to tackle it. The hero rolled a boulder up a hill opposite the dragon's lair and shouted out to it. As the monster emerged jaws agape the champion rolled the boulder down into the dragon's maw, chocking the foul beast.

Further Comments: Riding a mottled grey horse, the squire rides circles on the driveway, rattling a handful of chains.

Further Comments: The King of the pixies once lived in this area, but the ringing of the church bells drove him away.

Further Comments: A woman driving near the village was attacked and abducted by a large robot after her car broke down - it took her to a domed craft where she was experimented on by three creatures.
