Further Comments: The large demonic dog once reported around Woodbridge was white and as large as a cow. The creature was said to give chase if people fled from it.

Further Comments: A local story tells of two men walking down the High Street, debating the existence of ghosts. One man warns the other of a ghost walking towards them and jumps to one side, out the way. His friend scoffs in disbelief, only to be knocked down to the ground as the spirit of a recently dead tailor pushed past him!

Further Comments: A photograph taken in the pub showed a strange circle of light by the fireplace. A medium in the building at the time claimed to feel the presence of a young child in that area just before the image was taken.

Further Comments: The club has a reputation for being haunted by ex-service personnel, but an old woman dressed in a night-shirt has also been seen here, standing in the corner of the bar.

Further Comments: A triangular UFO was seen slowly floating towards the ground, several independent witnesses reporting it as a crashed aircraft. No aeroplanes were reported missing, nor any wreckage found.

Further Comments: The ghost of Thomas is said to appear dressed all in white, manifesting in protest as the wealth he bequeathed to the poor was spent by wealthy men.

Further Comments: Seeing what he thought to be a calf stuck in a pit, a local farmer rushed to help it out, only to find the creature to be a large wolf. He ran for his gun, but on return he could find no evidence that the beast had ever existed.

Further Comments: Two children appeared in the village, both with a strong green pigmentation. They claimed to have been watching their family's sheep in a place called St Martins, when they heard a loud noise, before finding themselves in the strange village. The debate is still on to whether they were alien, fairy children, or lost human children.

Further Comments: The shuck in this yarn caught a man and spoke, informing the unfortunate gentleman that he would be dead within a week. Not surprisingly, he died the following night.

Further Comments: While driving to work, one witness reported seeing in his rear view mirror a motorcycle which disappeared. Others have also seen the phantom motorbike.

Further Comments: A woman walking her dogs spotted a farmer dressed in old fashioned clothing turning hay with a pitchfork. Thinking the farmer looked out of place, the witness looked back, only to discover that the farmer had vanished.

Further Comments: The Big Cats of Suffolk website reported multiple sightings of large cats in this area. In 1997, a wave of sightings were reported of a lynx or cougar, and patrols were established to try to capture the creature. Sightings have sporadically continued, and in 2015 police reported a panther on the loose.

Further Comments: Not liked by fellow members of her family, Henrietta extracted her revenge by requesting to be buried in a special mausoleum which ruined the view from the hall. Several generations later, her chamber was knocked down, which resulted in her ghost returning. Instead of attaching itself to the building however, it took a liking to her portrait, and when the painting was sold, the shade followed the picture. In 2005, 100 years after it was removed, the picture was returned to the hall.
