Further Comments: A black dragon from Suffolk and a spotted red dragon from Essex met at this location. After fighting for an hour, the Essex dragon won, and both dragons disappeared back to where they came.

Further Comments: When this property appeared on the market, a couple of media outlets made reference to the building's previous ghost hunting events, that focused on ghostly children's voices heard in the nursery and cold spots in the servants' area.

Further Comments: One story says that, unable to escape the noise of a party, Countess Rivers leaped out of her bedroom window and drowned in the moat below. However, it appears likely that is not the case, and she died quietly in St Osyth's in Essex. Either way, her shade now walks the grounds. More recently, objects have been said to move unaided and strange noises heard.

Further Comments: Once the watering hole of ghost hunter Harry Price, The Bull has reported multiple poltergeist activity, with bottles and china thrown across rooms. Footsteps have also been heard walking in empty rooms and dogs have been reported to act strange in the building. A common local story blames the ghost of Richard Everard, murdered in 1648 at the Bull.

Further Comments: Seen only twice, on the same day, this apparition was seen in the upper part of the house. A builder watched her climb the staircase to the second floor at midday, while both the owner and his dog ran from the form when they encountered it at 17:00h.

Further Comments: Seen by a couple of kitchen workers during the 1970's, the origin of the figure that walked across the room and through a wall is unknown. The area has long been haunted before Birds Eye moved in, mostly from poltergeist behaviour moving around boxes of fish.

Further Comments: The ghost, a nun, was once said to haunt a house that stood on the cliff edge, which has now gone. Her form is now seen along the cliffs.

Further Comments: A drunken sailor, in a vain attempt to impress his girlfriend, tried his hand at balancing on the handrail of the bridge - he failed, fell and died. It is now said his dying moans can be heard when you stand under the bridge.

Further Comments: Rumoured to have once been the site of a priory, this road and the buildings along it have been long haunted by a hooded figure. The ghost was described by some witnesses to be a woman.

Further Comments: Rollahide died in a drunken rage; swinging a weapon at a fellow worker he was playing cards with, Rollahide lost balance and fell into a large pool of cement where he drowned. His ghost is now said to occasionally appear in the area, dripping cement.

Further Comments: Two witnesses in a car were convinced they had run over a man who stepped out in front of their car. Described as wearing a 'Benny' hat and having an unforgettable face, they searched the area but could find nothing.

Royal Falcon Hotel, Lowestoft.

Further Comments: This hotel featured in several media outlets after a poltergeist outbreak resulted in staff watching glasses move unaided across the bar. One story claimed that the phantom was a monk who had killed himself in the building, and that Room 10 was particularly haunted. To protect himself against any ghost-related injury claims lodged by guests, the landlord took out an insurance policy with Ultraviolet, who were known at the time for their quirky range of financial protection against alien abduction and werewolf attack.

Further Comments: A figure dressed in monk's garb has been seen in the bedrooms of this building, accompanied by a drop in temperature and gusts of cold air.

Further Comments: While coming down from the second to the first floor, one man passed a woman in period dress ascending the staircase. Only when the man reached the bottom of the staircase did he realise what had happened.

Further Comments: The owner experienced mild poltergeist activity with items disappearing and also told the press that former occupants had reported a knight in shining armour who emerged from a cupboard. This claim was rebutted in the local press by a former occupant who said nothing paranormal had happened during her family's time at the farmhouse.

Further Comments: A man waiting in his car reported seeing a policeman in an old fashioned uniform. who appeared in front of his vehicle and appeared to be scribbling in a notepad. The policeman then glowed and vanished. The witness said that the figure had a 'holographic look' about him.

Further Comments: The site of a major airfield during the Second World War, the Police Headquarters and the surrounding heathland has a reputation of being haunted by long dead pilots. Several police officers have seen such shades, while more recently, owners of a shop reported seeing a detached human shadow outside their establishment.
