Further Comments: Fortunately for any witnesses, this member of the Cwn Annwn is reported to be harmless as it runs between castle and town, although on one occasion it screamed so loudly that a witness thought the ground was moving beneath her feet.

Further Comments: This creature, a midnight black dog the size of a donkey, would bring bad luck and misfortune to all who saw it. It was also always heard when a local person of some importance died - his howls and barks would cause all the mortal dogs in the neighbourhood to also howl.

Further Comments: This park, like many in Yorkshire, is reputedly home to a large demonic black hound. A photographed was published by the local press in 2019 which claimed to show the entity but was more likely to be a dog being walked by its owner.

Further Comments: Black lane was patrolled by a large black dog with bright eyes and a large, fanged mouth which glowed like burning coals. It once saved a local girl from being attacked by a robber.

Further Comments: The remains of a hound seven foot (2 metres) long were unearthed on the abbey grounds. Because of the proximity to the village of Bungay, some media outlets claimed the remains belonged to the Black Shuck. An old local legend says the area was home to the large black dog.

Further Comments: Seen by Lady Rendlesham and Lady Walsingham, the shuck appeared at midnight, leapt over the low churchyard wall, and disappeared towards the sand hills.

Further Comments: An early twentieth century witness reported seeing this creature several times over the years, always when cycling at night between the two villages. A more recent witness heard howling and spotted two red eyes - after the witness's uncle died a short time later, they believed what they had encountered had been a shuck.

Further Comments: A man cutting turf along this road just after dusk was approached by a large phantom hound. The presence worried the man, so he quickly left. It was speculated he was digging close to buried treasure, and phantom animal protecting the hoard.

Further Comments: A legend says this hound, which can be heard howling in the night, is sometimes accompanied by a young lady in grey on horseback. She, in turn, has been known to ride with a wild hunt called the Dorcas Noble, while trying to win the heart of a former boyfriend. A large white hound was seen in the area during the 1980s - the size of an Irish Wolfhound, during one encounter the creature vanished as if running behind a black sheet.

Further Comments: This hound has been known to leave oversized paw prints on the damp sand which vanish suddenly halfway across the beach.

Further Comments: During a storm, the gallows that once stood here were hit by lightning - a large fire quickly took hold around the area, and the witnesses who quickly arrived on the scene reported seeing a large black dog in the middle of the blaze running around the flames. The entity suddenly vanished.

Further Comments: The shuck which lives here is reported to have knocked off the corner of the pub while passing by one night. The shuck was last seen in 1959 and was described as the size of a calf with glowing red eyes.
Location: Macclesfield (Cheshire) - South of railway station

Further Comments: Departing the station, this train driver reported seeing a white misty dog move quickly across the track from left to right. One side of the railway stands a six metre high wall, while on the other a 3.5 metre high mesh fence - nowhere where the dog could have come from or disappeared to.
