Further Comments: An early ABC report from the UK, this creature was said to have a head of a lion, though the body resembled a dog. Deaths were reported in the local livestock population.

Further Comments: Once the home of patients with TB, several of these unfortunates are said to remain, including a little girl and an older man who once engaged a worker on site in conversation.

Horse and Pedestrian

Further Comments: One local reported witnessing a phantom horse pass by, closely followed by the sounds of footsteps in pursuit of the creature. During the 1920s, two skeletons were discovered close to site of the haunting.
