Poetically immortalised by Sir Robert Scott, the Lowlands are constructed of gentle (and not so gentle) hills and majestic rivers which were once stained with the blood of freedom fighters, raiders, soldiers and civilians. Some of these fights continue post mortem, and along with the water horses, phantom green ladies, haunted castles, vampires, pixies and fairies, the whole of the Scottish Lowlands becomes a paranormal place of interest.
