Lincolnshire is credited
as being the second largest county in England. It mostly comprises
of flat land which could be easily flooded if it wasn’t for
the manmade sea defences, and the once widespread marshes are now
mostly drained. Further inland, quaint villages still possess cobbled
streets, and the county town of Lincoln has a special historical
value. Several areas of this shire have their own shuck stories
to tell, and a few old RAF bases in the county are reputed to be
home to former flyboys who have not yet realised they are already
dead.
