Further Comments: Several people over the years are said to have seen a woman in Victorian clothing while in the pub. As with many other public houses, mild poltergeist activity has been experienced by staff, such as a flying glass and closing doors.

Further Comments: A rain of barley straw fell in the village, covering one end of the area. A local man watched the straw spinning in the air before stopping and suddenly falling.

Further Comments: A former landlord at the pub reported seeing a cloaked figure that drifted across the yard and vanished through a brick wall. There were also reports of phantom footsteps above the bar, in an area that should have been empty. The landlord took out an insurance policy to protect him against any harm the entity might do to the customers.
