Further Comments: A witness looked out the window at night and spotted a large triangular object, at least the size of a bus, hovering over the house and street. It had numerous lights around the edge, but the lights did not appear to cast any shadows. The object silently flew off in the direction of Holme Moss.

Further Comments: The Kirkwall coastguard reported a very bright spherical object with a tail, moving north west to the south east. The object then split in two. The Aberdeen coastguard reported seeing the same or similar two objects a little later.

Further Comments: Lee Jones, his wife and her mother watched a huge saucer shaped craft hovering in the sky, clouds occasionally covering the object. A passenger jet that passed near the craft enabled Jones to estimate the ufo was about a mile long. Other witnesses reported seeing the craft throughout June and earlier in the year.

Further Comments: A forestry worker was attacked by 2 robotic creatures that resembled mines, with six protruding legs. They gave off a smell that knocked him out. Later, when the site was examined by police, they found evidence of a fight, and marks from the robot's 'legs'.

Further Comments: A UAP was spotted by multiple witnesses. The object was difficult to make out, due to the piercing light it emitted, but was thought to be similar to a cube with 'arm light' appendages. A witness estimated the object to be between four and six times the size of an aircraft. The UAP was initially stationary but moved north over the Edinburgh flight path.

Further Comments: A loud crashing sound was heard by many locals, coming from the nearby hill. They thought it was a light aircraft or military training jet, but RAF personal reported finding nothing, though they kept the area closed to the public for several days afterwards. Some now report that a small alien craft crashed there, and the wreckage recovered by the Government.

Further Comments: A couple in a car were reportedly pursued by a UFO. Both people claimed to have seen the occupant of the craft and described the figure as large with frizzy hair.

Further Comments: Walking home with her two daughters, Lynda Jones and the children watched a twenty metre long orange/pink oval craft drop into a field. When they approached to take a better look, the ufo had changed to a grey colour and was hovering sixty centimetres above the ground. They all ran away after one daughter started screaming, and in later hypnotherapy Lynda recalled being abducted by almost human figures in jumpsuits.

Further Comments: Several circular bright lights were observed by a man walking his dog in the night sky. The balls were all different sizes and travelled very fast in a zigzag motion, creating no sound. The man was left shaken after watching the display but did not contact the authorities fearing they would think he was mad.

Further Comments: Two people in a garden watched a light in the sky as it moved fast, suddenly stop, and move back on itself before disappearing.

Further Comments: While out walking, Cathie Connelly encountered an illuminated domed object surrounded by tall men wearing one-piece overalls. The men had strangely tall foreheads, and one man cleaned his hands using a duster smiled at the witness. As Connelly left the area, she turned back and realised they had gone.

Further Comments: It was reported that traffic was brought to a standstill when between 10 - 15 orange lights were seen moving in a southerly direction. The UFOs all moved at the same speed, before stopping and moving upwards. The sighting lasted for about ten minutes.

Further Comments: Two friends sitting in this car park watched as a large, brightly illuminated triangular craft pass overhead. After the sighting, as they tried to drive away, the car froze, as if held in place by an unseen force.

Further Comments: The strange doughnut-shaped exhaust trail left across the sky is said by some to have been created by the top secret US hypersonic Aurora spy plane.

Further Comments: A soldier once based here alleged, in later life, to have been abducted while on guard duty at the base. Remembering the abduction from his dreams, the man claimed he fell unconscious after being hit by a thin beam of light.
