Though the Islands section is the
smallest region in Scotland, it shouldn’t belittle the mythological
impact of these remote, windswept lands. Formed 2,500 million years
ago by a state of volcanic eruptions, one could almost believe that
the lands have been deliberately sculptured by nature to prepare
the subconscious for supernatural encounters. The churning, violent
waters surrounding the isolated lands are rich in cryptozoological
reports.
