Black Toby - Toby's Walks (recreational area), Blythburgh, Suffolk

A drummer in the army, one night Toby became so drunk he left the local public house to rape and murder the first woman he came across. He was hanged for the crime, and now haunts the nearby area. Some say he appears driving a coach pulled by four black horses, others state he just walks along banging his drum in regret.
